In 2016, in Fuzhou, during the Nibot flood rescue, Hishan multifunctional excavation and suction vehicles, with extendable suction pipes, were used to reach narrow streets, alleys, or cross ditches for post-disaster cleanup. They were also capable of performing road surface cleaning operations.
